Ken is a Director of Purcell Taylor Lawyers and works exclusively in the areas of litigation and insurance and is an accredited specialist in personal injuries law.
Ken undertakes personal injuries work for both plaintiff and defendant matters, although the majority of Ken’s work involves plaintiff personal injury matters. These Claims involve worker’s injured in the course of their employment, general worker’s compensation claims, motor vehicle accidents, claims by pedestrians, machinery-related accidents, claims by cyclists, accidents occurring in a public place, ‘slip, trip and fall’ claims and permanent impairment assessment disputes with WorkCover Queensland and Q Comp.
The Queensland Law Society awarded Ken the title of Accredited Specialist of Personal Injuries Law in 1999, after completing the requisite examinations. Ken continues to meet the annual requirements in specialist personal injury training to maintain that accreditation.
