Troydon attained his Bachelor of Laws at James Cook University and was admitted as a solicitor in 2018.
Troydon began his legal career in Mount Isa, working in general practice but predominately in the fields of conveyancing, criminal law, family and domestic violence law.
Troydon frequently appeared in the Mount Isa Magistrates Court and instructing Counsel in the District and Supreme Courts.
Troydon returned to his home town of Townsville and has continued to regularly appear and represent clients in a variety of Courts.
Troyon's primary areas of practice are criminal, family and domestic violence law. He ensures that his clients are fully informed of the current law as he ensures that he keeps up to date with all of the latest developments.
In family law, Troydon assists clients in divorce, property settlements and also all matters involving children's issues.
